Iskander A. (Alex) Shalaby

On September 1, 2008 Alex Shalaby was appointed Chairman of the Egyptian Company for Mobile Services (Mobinil) by Board consensus; prior to that he was its President and CEO since 2005. Alex Shalaby was Chief Officer for Regulatory Affairs at Mobinil from 1998 to 2005 and was responsible for the licensing and regulations required in setting up Mobinil as the first mobile operator in Egypt. Between 1993 and 1995, Shalaby was Regional Director for International Public Affairs for AT&T, based in Cairo, Egypt, where he was the principal interface with key agencies within the governments in the region on matters impacting AT&T’s operations. Shalaby was Managing Director for AT&T in Egypt, and General Manager for the Middle East and North Africa region until 1993. In 1966 Shalaby graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alexandria and a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from San Jose State University, USA.

Khalid Ellaicy

Mr. Khalid Ellaicy is the Group CFO of Orascom Telecom Media & Technology since December 2016. Khalid’s affiliation with the group started in 2005 when he joined Mobinil as Director Risk Management and Internal Audit and later as CFO. He also remained as Group CFO for Orascom Telecom Holding. Khalid has been associated at senior management positions with industry top names such as MTC Vodafone, Batelco, Pepsi and KPMG. Kahlid has raised billions of dollars in debt from various financial institutions helping organizations sustain market challenges. Khalid holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce majoring in Accounting from Ain Shams University along with having US CPA. He is member of the Egyptian Society of Accountants and Auditors and has held the distinction of being the youngest partner in history of Egypt while serving KPMG

Emad Farid

Mr. Farid joined the Orascom group in 1992 where he held different managerial positions. As of 2000, Mr. Farid joined OTH as the Chief Operation Officer, and was subsequently appointed as the CEO of Syriatel. Mr. Farid is currently the Group Chief Operation Officer at OTH. Moreover, Mr. Farid is a Board Member & Chairman of the Board in several OTH subsidiaries.

Assad Saifullah Khan

Mr. Assad Saifullah Khan is the Chief Executive Officer of Kohat Textile Mills Limited. He is also a Director in other Group Companies including Saif Textile Mills Limited, Kohat Textile Mills Limited, Saif Power Limited, Saif Energy Limited and Saif Healthcare Limited. Assad Saifullah Khan graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004 majoring in History and Culture and a minor in French. He then moved to London to pursue his legal education by attaining his Common Professional Examination/Graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law in 2005 and certification in the Bar Vocational Course from the Inns of Court School of Law (ICSL) in 2007. During his legal education, he worked with Orr, Dignam & Co (Islamabad) and as a caseworker for the current Deputy Leader of the Labor Party – the Right Honorable Harriet Harman MP, QC. After completing the Bar Vocational Course, Assad interned for several months at J.D. Spicer & Co. a leading solicitor’s practice in London, before moving back to Pakistan during the summer of 2007. This was followed by a one-year tenure as an Associate at Hassan & Hassan (Lahore). Under the tutelage of Dr. Parvez Hassan, Assad handled company law cases and corporate work for several large multinationals. Assad Saifullah Khan brings with him the considerable experience gained through working in the UK and Pakistan. As Head of the Legal Department he is responsible for coordinating all legal and contractual matters for Group subsidiaries and associated companies.

Oussama Daniel Nassif Faltas

Mr. Oussama is the Chief Legal Officer of Orascom Telecom Media & Technology. He also serves as the Director Legal & Regulatory for mobile services company Mobinil. He has served at top financial institutions and telecom organizations during his career and some of them include Barclay’s Bank, Orascom Telecom Holding and Almana Group of Companies. Mr. Oussama has a Masters Degree in International Business Law from the Institut de Droit des Affaires Internationales faculty of Law, University of Cairo, Egypt / University of Paris Dauphine, France and has an undergraduate from Faculty of Law, University of Alexandria. He is member of Egyptian Bar association and skilled multilingual knowing Arabic, English and French.

Khursheed Ashraf

Mr. Khursheed Ashraf is the General Manager (Business Division) for Waleed Associates in Muscat Sultane of Oman. He has been working on senior position for the last 40 years. He is in the board of management of Siemens LLC Oman & NEWREST WACASCO, Oman. He is the part of the Executive committee members of National Telephone Services Co. Oman and Executive committee member of Rees Oil & Gas services LLC, Oman. Prior taking professional assignments in Oman he served in Siemens Pakistan & Packages Limited in Lahore. By the virtue of education Mr. Ashraf is an Electrical Engineer.
